fogging glass

Ok ever since i bought this 1998 ss the back window is always fogged. It slowly creeps to the front of the car. The windshield gets but not as bad. If i drive around with all defogs on it goes away after 20min or so. Once i leave the car and come back after 15 20 min the windows are fogged. Anybody have any idea what would cause this?

water inside the car...perhaps from a window/t-top leak. If you have floor mats, lift them up and press good and hard on the carpet to see if you feel any moisture.

Yes i have a leak carpet is wet behind driver&passenger seat . I see a drain at the back part of the t top it is lifted a little i am going to silcone a few spots were the drains are. I shop vacced all the carpets to get as much water as i could took out the seat and lifted the carpet a little. Is there any place the ttops are known for leaking?

on 4th gens...

I know the back corner of the window where it meets the t-top/roof can be a good place, and that sounds like its where its coming in for you. It will get inside the window, follow the sill the whole way down, then fill up the carpet. typically it won't usually drip it will just run.

A window + t-top adjustment may work well for you...also, putting some vaseline on the weatherstripping can make it swell back up if its flattened out a bit over time and it will also condition the rubber.
