4th gen brakes in a 1st gen

hey guys another question, would 4th gen trans am brakes bolt up to a 68 bird. we are thinking of swapping everything, spindles calipers rotors backing plates , booster master , everything. thanks in advance guys

Nope.

Def not spindles. Calipers and rotors yea, booster and master no.

okay, thank you im assuming they make a kit for it and you can just use the rotors and calipers

don't you have an LT1 car? Assuming stock brakes, those fronts are really not worth any effort to retrofit; maybe the rears. Booster can be modified to work but it is certainly no bolt in. the master might depending on what brakes and booster you end up using (bore sizing, etc., comes into play) and then you have line differences

^i agree...why not just go corvette c5 calipers/rotors..13" front stock and multi-piston

very true, if it was a simple job i would use my lt1 brakes just to upgrade to disk but because its not a direct fit ill upgrade to better brakes thanks again guys
