Basic questions: What is your brake fluid level like? What does your voltmeter read when this happens?

I have been having the same issue. I read the fault and it happens when the abs drops below 9v.

Wiring is good charging system is good, appears I just need an abs module.

I would get the faults read out first though and report back. Just happens randomly while driving ?

Sorry on my phone posting (auto correct)

Sounds like the 9 volts is your issue, I would go that route.

Mine comes on everytime I drive. It varies when it comes on. Last summer I looked at the wiring harness going to the ABS module, and it was rubbing up against something. I fixed that part of the wire, but it's shorting out still somewhere down the harness, and I haven't had time to disect the it. Also look at your abs sensor on the pumpkin/ends of the rear, they could have something that made them improperly read or not read the reluctor ring at all.

A few years before my harness started shorting, my light would come on just like it does now. Turns out metallic dust collected at the end of the prong reading the reluctor ring on the differential. It prevented it from getting a proper read, so I cleaned it off, and that fixed it.

The light doesnt have to be on to read the codes they will be stored.

I think it may be related to that sensor to, my old camaro used to do that during the winter driving around in snow.

I know the 9v is my issue, but there is no reason but a faulty abs module, battery voltage never dropped that low and it happens while driving, idling whenever. Was going to buy a used one but it didn't do it for a few months.

yeah you need to have those codes read. I can get a hold of a MAC scanner through a buddy of mine and read the codes for you depending on where you are in relation to where I am

When the lights are on, I would verify you have power and ground at the module.
