decided to put my blazer on the road for the winter and id like to stuff the largest tire that will fit on the stock rim on it, 15x7 rim and its 4wd so it sits a little bit higher. so what can i fit?

31x?? I don't think it will look bad, might put an inch body lift on it. Depends on what my money looks like when it's that time

quick cheap lift if you got leaf springs in rear and are under axle you can put them over axle and it adds a lift and cheap and then adjust your front torction bars and straighting out vehicle did that to finds blazer looks nice.

31s will rub on hard turns, and also while turning and going over bumps. They will hit the sway bar. The Zr2 runs 31" tires and that has about 2 inches of lift over a standard 4x4. If you don't mind the slight rubbing then go for it but for any serious wheeling they will definetly rub

If you don't want to worry about rubbing, a 30x9.5 will fit fine, and there are plenty of tires available in that size.
There are cheap 2" and 3" body lifts out there that will let you run a 31x10.5 easily.

He doesn't appear to be looking for something to 'wheel, just wants to stuff a larger tire under it. 2" BL isn't going to hurt him, and it's waaay cheaper than a suspension lift for an S10 blazer.

that is true he can do it him self if he goes buy blocks for rear and new u joints for leaf springs to be cheap or do the leaf above axle its free lol.
my buddy buys them like a dime a dozen for 500 800 and stuff like that we rebuild them all the time n turn them around. were working on one now converting to to floor shift and all..bought it with both driver and pass door dented and hood its the two door one so we took doors off a bravada we had also and swapped doors over and hood.

search yourself lol
if you just want 31s a 2" body lift is the way to go. Not sure if it would be good for your slipping transmission though lol. I had 31s on my 94 and it made a big difference in driveablity compared to the 235s i have on it now

Which Coopers do you have?
I suggested the Mastercraft Courser AT2s to him earlier tonight. They'll be decent out in the woods if he wants to venture there, and solid in the snow all winter:

I think I'm going to do a 2" body lift and the the free lift that you guys were talking about. Am I going to run into steering or drive shaft issues?
