like i said in post 5, nhra states the crossbar and rear bars must be welded to the main hoop. you can buy roll bars with removable centers but technically that will fail track inspection and you won't be allowed to run under 11.5. if you do, you get teh boot.

I completly agree bonzo.

That was kinda the point of this thread. As much as I like it I will prob not do it. For all the factors listed. Safety/fuctionality are top of the list. I deal with safety all day everyday so I understand the 'compassion' for it. Like I said this was for research/info BEFORE I do go forward with my build.

Appreciate all the responses.
