the quietest muffler you can find will work nicely, or if you want to hear it get about 5 resonators put on and hope that is enough to kill the raspyness. they are really not nice sounding motors at all.

flowmaster is probably the best for a 3.4....you want it quiet though. also, get headers and a hi-flow cat to move the riceyness further up in the RPM range.

hey listen i got a 3.4. and with a slp sideout muffler with dual outs. sounds just like an eight. sounds better than my brother in laws 91 trans am. dont let the v8 guys break your nuts. i belong to a fbody club in fl and theres a guy there who did the turbo project and is running high 13's. and last year i went to slp day in florida and the was a 3.4 with an air set up, and nos running 13.5's. ITS STILL AN FBODY. whats the deal.

thats your opinion. and i have mine. i agree with the high revs getting a little ricey. but when you open up the air into the engine it changes the sound some more. the more mods the better the sound. im not sayin exactly like an eight but sure doesnt sound weak. im saying that my car sounds better than my brother in laws 91 t/a he agrees as well. i have a nice low deep rumble. all the guy asked for was an opinion on a muffler and now its a debate. youll just have to see my car for yourself. just my 2 cents.

Well i guess that it depends on the sound your looking for..i'm sure if your looking for the tough sound get Flowmaster, but if you want something that gives alittle less tough but still alittle tude get a borla..as for the V6 i became a fan after watching the 12secV6 car from the list at the SLP day this weekend..That Car Was BADASS with it's almost 11 sec pass..and i agree V6 or V8 if it's an F-Bod,it's all good to me
