Are there any examples I can see? Where my cowl opens up, there is a small "reservoir" area which is enclosed by two grilles with a small strip of fiberglass in the middle. I was thinking of hacking the grilles under the hood and strip of fiberglass, and putting a filter angled closely against the grille facing the windshield. I'm not worried about having rain since there is a hood over the outside grille. I know I did a horrible job at explaining this, but if you can help, I’ll thank you ahead of time.

Oh, and yeah ... pop rivets are badass :P
