Storing Camaro w/ Power Steering Leak - HELP

So, I'm leaving Florida Tuesday, and my high pressure hose started leaking on the Camaro. (ls1). ((connection between steering rack and PS resevoire))

I drove it down here to leave with my Dad in his garage because I'll be in Ecuador for an extended amount of the unforeseeable future... but now it has a leak.

IS IT SAFE to store it without any fluid?
or
Will the pressure cause damage?

Same question, for driving it around the neighborhood once per month. Is it safe, completely drained of fluid??

Thanks a lot guys, long time no speak, hope everyone is well.

it will be fine sitting. driving it low on fluid can damage things.

maybe dad takes it to a shop and has it fixed while you're away

If its leaking so much that the system is empty, fix it. An empty pump is not a happy pump.
