new hood and spoiler for my 94 Z28 + more

ok, so i havent even picked up the car yet, but I already deciding on what i'm gonna do to it when i get it. Â*First off i want to change the hood and i like the one Glasstek makes for the 93-97 camaros, its a 4" pin-on, and only 300. Â*And I have had a few cars with pin-on hoods and i dont mind them one bit. Â*As for a spoiler, the stock z28 wing seems like nothing and i dont want an SS style since its not an SS, I already have a real one of those. Â*So i came across the ASCD one piece RS wing, for 249 it doesnt seem that bad. Â*So, within the next week or two i think im gonna order both so theyll be here when i finally pick up the z28. Â*As for other exterior changes, I'm putting on 98-99 z28 wheels, the stock taillights from my '01 camaro, I hate the 93-96 style, and I'm also doing clear front lenses and side markers. Â*I am also going to take the lowering springs from my SS and use them in the z28. After that its gonna get tinted and i think thatll be it, for now, then ill focus on my SS again.

heres pics of the hood and spoiler

pretty interesting spoiler, i guess i gotta see it in person but seems like a good idea with no holes to drill in the quater panels, as for the hood, i could never have a pin on cuz id always be worried about messin it up when its off the car or droppin it but thats just my opinon

Im digging the spoiler, but not the hood.

I think the old fashion style cowl hoods for 4th gens are too "blocky" they dont match the curving lines.

Looks good man. If only they made a Jongbloed hood for 4th gens that would look sick IMHO.

i'm pretty set on that hood i found, it gets rid of the stock hood vents which personally i dont like one bit, but thats just my preference, and with the spoiler i'm still open to ideas. I just havent found any other one that i think would be appropriate. If anyone has suggestions, let me know. i will NOT do the commando wing, "f40" wing, any oem SS spoiler, so all that kleaves is the RS style lip add-on. I saw the SS style version i think ASCD makes with the 1" higher flip, but, thats still an SS style, and the car is only a Z28. Who knows, maybe i'll make my own spoiler.

I agree with njspeeder. I'm not a fan of that spoiler, if it was one peice then maybe but I don't like the whole stacking a spoiler on top of a spoiler idea, kind of rice IMO.

As for a spoiler option other that the f40, rs or ss I think your shot as far as I know. I haven't seen any others, but there is a good chance there are more I just don't know about.

I do like the hood choice though! Very nice, I'm debating between a cowl hood or an SS hood myself.

i did come across another spoiler which im seriously considering. Its made by RK sport(i dotn care for them too much but anyway, (i know i'm gonna catch alotta slack for likign the spoiler) lol its their 5" high lip, its like the rs add on spoiler, its 3 peices but 5" high. I want the car to be different, not like every other lt1 z28 around my area. and i think that wing would do it. i havent seen it ever in person but if i get it and it looks liek ****, ill take it off but you never know, i may love it even more. heres a link to the page, its on the white camaro with the weird black side decals.

click on the link, then click on hoods/ground effects on the left menu, scroll down a few products and you'll see it, it doesnt look the greatest in white, but i think it would look good with what i have in mind for the whole personality of the car.
http://www.tbyrne.com/lt1catalog.html

and if you dont like it, just gicve me some credit, im trying to be different, lol

Also theirs Freedom Designs 1 peice 3" Spoiler, not as drastic as the RK sports 5.

wow, i actually like that 3" one alot, ok thats my new choice and at about 1/2 the price, thats even better. lol, See, that is something you wont normally see. Thank you for letting me know about that alex.

so,
4" cowl hood...300 + shipping and paint
3" spoiler...160 + shipping and paint
not having any forward or rear visability...priceless, lol

lets see, what else did i decide on... clear marker lights all around, my '01 taillights, oh and black hockey stripe decals on the side...what can i say i like decals, and i couldt do stripes again, the SS would get jealous.

No Prob Paul, thats the similar look I want for my car, the old style Trans Am race car. But I want the less wild 2" cowl from Harwood, with the 3" spoiler (or SS doesnt bother me). Plus with my cars stance it says race car all over it

wow!! that looks badass! Only thing I would do is get a razor blade and scrape off GTS or whatever letters are on the headlight covers. I took em off my rear blackouts and it looks 1000 times better

I I'm really not a fan of the fourth gen. With that said, out of all the wings that I've seen the them, this one (IMO) is the nicest. I has a nice hint of the second gen wings. Though, it would be nice to see something that wasn't as high off the hatch. Maybe like a 1''??? I'm more of a third gen man, so what the hell do I know
