his driver side window stopped working in his 1994 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 convertable. He purchased a new switch, but after installing it, the window still would not go down. However, when he jumps it, the window will go down. he wants to know if there is a relay and if there is he wants to know where it is because he isnt very good with electrical systems.

better?

Yes, there is control box that does the express down function. Â*It is located under the Driver's side kick panel. Â*But, I never heard of it failing that would effect the actual up/down, just the express down.

When you jumped it, did you do at at the motor or at where the switch plugs in? Â*Could be the new switch is bad or maybe just a loose connection somewhere. Â*

Sorry, I know this isn't a lot of help.

Â*JB

yeah its probably the stupid relay. My Z28's window will work when it wants to. When there is a bunch of stress on it the thing pretty much overheats and stops working for a bit. Atleast thats what mine is doing now.
