Unhappy Shifter

I just installed the B&M Ripper shifter in my 99 formula and now the boot wont stay in place, i can still see all of my wires and stuff... anyone got any ideas?

Did you break the plastic part that holds the boot into the console?

no, the boot just wont stay on the plastic part, should i just get a new boot?

Aye I would say glue it then to the boot. The boot has little holes that the plastic tabs go through to hold it in place but it is also glued to the boot.

didn't have that problem when I installed my pro 5.0 but I would have to say glue it. Don't see any other way around that.

lol i didnt wanna come down to that incase i didnt like the ripper, so far so good but ya never know...well i guess if i ever go to change it i can just re-glue the boot
