brake light problem

94 suburban with tow package...

i have hazards and running lights but no brake lights when i step on the brakes... its def. not the bulbs or the fuses... now this brings me to the brake light switch.... 8 out of 10 time i step on the brakes hard the brake lights dont come on... the other 2 they all come on...

is it a loose wire/connection on the brake switch or is it possible the brake switch is on its way out and at fault for this?

i appreciate any opinions... thanks

test out the switch and see if there is any power going in and coming out of it.
