383 stroker

Bad news I blew up the 350. Good news I bought a 383 stroker. How hard is it to get tpi to work with the 383? I really dont want to change all the wires and dont have alot of money. I've seen it done but was just looking for suggestions. And carb is out of the picture this is a daily driver

The enigne will bolt in and for the most part should plug in pretty easily.. The knock sensor and esc need to be right, the injectors need to be big enough to supply the extra cubes, and probably most importantly the intake needs to be adressed or the thing isnt going to spin past 4500.. Might want to find out all the specifics on the engine before you try to put it in because some cams just dont work right with the tpi management. You can run into problems where the engine loads up at idle or lower rpms and much worse.

Sure, if you want to cut out all the wiring, run a new fuel system, add a computer to run lock up, and lose alot of driveability and mileage..

I'm with Josh. Make sure your cam is a good choice for TPI and look into some of the aftermarket setups like the Super Ram, Mini Ram, or the Stealth Ram. They will allow your engine to breathe better and turn higher RPM's. You're going to need at least 24# injectors, if not 30#'s to support the fuel needs. Other than that all of the wiring basically remains the same.
