CTW Motorsports June 2012 Group Purchase

CTW Motorsports has recently become a NJFBOA site sponsor! In celebration of this, we are announcing a group buy on our wheels.

We offer 17" x 9.5" direct fit wheels for the 3rd generation (1982 to 1992) cars in a thin five spoke design. The wheels weigh 20lbs 4.4oz each and are available in silver and satin black colors. Sorry fourth gen guys, these wheels do not fit your cars - but we are working on a solution that should be available later this year in an even lighter weight!

So for the month of June, we are offering wheels at a discount of $50 off per set (NJFBOA price of $1,075). And in addition if you come in person and pay cash, you walk out the door with a set for $1,050 (an additional $25 savings) and save sales tax for NJ residents. If you pay by credit card and live in NJ, we must charge you sales tax. For members who live outside of NJ, you won't have to worry about sales tax whether you pick it up or ship, but will still offer the same group purchase prices. We ship UPS if local pickup is not a viable option.

>>> Group purchase code: NJFBOA0312 - please include your user ID for this site so I can place a name with an account.

>>>We also offer a unique service that no provider of 17" third gen wheels can - the ability to stop by our shop and actually try on a set of mounted wheels to see how they look on your car and be able take a quick spin.

We are located in Hillsborough, NJ - right off Route 206 North.
Hours: 9 to 5 (more like 6) Monday to Friday, weekends by appointment

Pretty sweet deal Paul! Being able to actually test fit a set of wheels onto your own car to see them in person is a huge plus.

I haven't been on that board in a while - thank you for the post!

We aim to please - by offering the service for local third gen owners, you can "try before you buy" to make the right decisions on a purchase.

Sure, come on by... Let me know when you want to drop in - sometimes I play loose with the hours!

Yes!

Actually I have the Baer 13" track system on my own car (blue one in pics) and there is literally about 1" from the outside of the caliper to the wheel barrel. Stock 16" 1992 Z28 wheels had about 1/8" clearance in 16".

If anyone is worried about the caliper face hitting the back of the wheel spokes, there is about 2.5" of clearance from the PBR calipers face to the closest part of the wheel spoke on the baer front kit.

Don't forget we are in NJ and you can come and try the wheels on your car for fit and also cosmetic impact (black or silver).

I have been posting the wheels on TGO, but they are very strict about non sponsors promoting products on the site - isn't cheap to advertise there by any means!

CTW = Cheat The Wind

The company was started to produce aerodynamic kits, but we did the wheels first...

Adding another level to the group buy:

One of my distributors ran a great deal on BFG G-Force Sport tires in 275-40-17; I picked up 5 sets, 2 sets (8 tires total) are left in my warehouse brand new with stickers on them for sale.

I want to add this as part of the group buy as we normally don't sell tires, but buyers have asked for them time and time again.

Wheel and tire group buy: $1,800 cash for wheels plus BFG G-Force sports in 275-40-17 mounted and balanced. Credit card purchases will be subject to 7% NJ sales tax for residents.

<<<or>>>

Wheel and tire group buy: $1,700 cash for wheels plus BFG G-Force sports in 275-40-17 loose (need to get them done yourself). Credit card purchases will be subject to 7% NJ sales tax for residents.

I only have 2 sets of these tires left, which Tire Rack sells for $164 each, plus shipping; Discount Tire Direct sells for $169 each, shipping included.

As they are not mounted, I will also sell them in sets of 4 for $650 cash as they will fit fourth gens and also C4 Vettes with 17" wheels. Credit card purchases will be subject to 7% NJ sales tax for residents.

Hurry before they are gone!
