You may want to call them back and change your center section over to nodular iron. The aluminum cases are not designed for street use or full weight door cars.

paid a fair price for the car with a few extra parts but the rear was screamin'

OK... Just got back for Christmas break and finally got to look at the rear. Everything was good except for the housing did not have the sway bar brackets that i ordered. I put in a call to kentucky speed and heve not heard back from them yet. I spent the entire day installing the rear. (by myself) and have about another 3 hours to go tomorrow. The center section is in and the housing is painted. The only reason why i couldnt finish it tonight was the shop that i took it to would not press on the bearings tonight. The axles will go in it tomorrow and then it should be easy from there. I might be in need of a set of cheap winter rims and tires cause my 28" street radials might not clear. If anyone has a set for cheap let me know. Thanks.

Well, the rear is officially in, but due to mother nature it still has zero miles... Figured i would post some pics of this thing. These were taken yesterday at the end of the day

First pic is of the axles that I had the bearings pressed onto. 35 spline with straight roller bearings. Second pic is of my work space. Wow was it cramped in there. Had to fight with **** to get the axles in. Third is of the first axle in. finally coming together...

First pic is of the last axle in and tightened down. Second is a failed attempt by my buddy at showing both axles. Third pic shows the torque arm mount installed and painted. Moser uses a fixed mount unlike some of the others that I have seen. Needed to buy a 1 1/8" socket to fit those beefy bolts..

This is the final product. It came out great. In the first pic you can see the old 10 bolt. Dont mind the leaking exhaust. That will be addressed next. I was able to retain the parking brake with a slight modification to the stock bracket. I also mounted it in the top hole for the LCA instead of the one i actually put the LCA in. (if that makes sense) Last picture shows what happened while i was in the garage all day. Nothing compared to the winters in Michigan... Any questions please feel free to ask. Tune on Tuesday...
