Tailight Paint

Ok, I've seen it on 12secondV6s car, and i saw it on someones picture on the board for a camaro. I forgot the name of it. Whats it called again? like fade to black, or midnight, or something like that.
also, if i wanted to do something like what I saw on he camaro, where the reverse light was not painted, but the rest was, would that look bad on a trans am? like, would it leae a noticable line on the back light panel where i stopped painting?
Final question...do they only make it in black, or could i get it in like, blue? No, im not painting the taillights blue. I have an idea (not ready to disclose it yet) and If possible, id like to see if i couldnt desguise it (even slightly)
Also, if anyone could tell me where i could get clear side markers from, as well as bulbs that would fit those markers where the bulb was clored yellow and red, that'd be much apprecialte. and yes, i know my keybard is a piece of ****. im getting tired of going back and correcting every third word, s im giving up and goig with it.

i think the taillight paint is called nightshades, and as far as i know only comes in black/smoke. rear side markers i dont know where to get in clear if they even make them, front side markers are available on ebay easliy. and the bulbs for the front a rear side markers are #194. they are stock clear bulbs but colored version are available.

I was thinking of doing the same thing with my TA... I was going to paint everything except for the actual circular sockets where the bulbs sit so it would look like corvette lights, but having three instead of 2. I dunno what happened to that idea... lol

theres a kid from my area, with a grey 91 gta, w/white stripes. he painted all but 3 circles on his taillights, looks "eh", but he did it to the 91-92 gta taillights, the very rare 2 piece style...ill never understand why he did that and not just buy earlier style T/A lights cheap to paint... some people i'll never get.

It looks really good, when done right.

If I had crappy tail-lights on my car I would do it.

I vote for fully blacked out I still gotta throw more on, it's not as dark as you'd think. When the lights are on it's very noticeable and I haven't been hassled once. If you're close I'd let you just borrow my VHT.
