anyone want to help me rewire my car

hey guys i need to wire up my car cause when i put in my head unit only sound comes out the back speaker and i cant hear cd's when i play them. so if neone know how 2 do it and wants to help let me know

you mean you cant hear it because the volumes too low, or because nothings playing when you turn the cd on?

not it plays the cd but i cant hear it at all through the speakers with the volume up

Hey Justin,i could come down saturday if your not doing nothing to take a look at it.when you say the back hatch speaker are you talking about the Bose one?let me know if you want me to come down...

is the head unit new? and did the speakers work when you had your old head unit in? its not hard to rewire speakers or power/ground/ign wires for that matter. speakers are probably the easiest. if you wanna test to make sure the head unit is pumpin sound for all the speakers, take a speaker and wire it to each set of speaker wires and turn the volume up. i would start there to make sure your gettin sound outa the wires on the headunit. if your not then its an internal problem which sucks. if you find out that its your wires in the car then i would just pull out the Int. and rewire all of them. its not hard

My understanding is if you got the bose system on your ride it will not work with aftermarket stereos since the front speakers are amplified.so you got to get some piece from bose for your factory speakers to work.at least thats how it was explained to me by the installers..

i dont know what i did lol but i dont have the bose system so i put the stock unit back in and same thing
