My 4L60E is leaking from where the shifter cable connects to the trans. how hard is it to change out the seal and can someone throw me a part number for it?

their is a special tool that when turned in to old seal allows it to be pulled out with out damage to the small shoulder of the trans housing -- available as a buy rent at a zone jz

sometimes you have to drop the trans down a little to get the tool in there. call a local trans shop and get a price.
