"We are trying to solidify some ideas for the future, be it next month, next year or beyond...We have to note that we will give the locations with the highest vote totals primary consideration but this does not guarantee that we will go the #1 vote-getter for the next meet, or even ever. "

We were at TR last few times - and we will go back, make no mistakes. Given summer traffic and such, we stayed away form shore area stuff. So we leaned to the north end of the south. This place has easy access off a few major roads (295/TPK), Deadtrend Tim says they have a big back lot. The voting was generally close, not like it was anykind of landslide or anything.

Geez, bunch of whiners in the south.

It's not that we're whining; We just dont want to drive over one hour north to go to a south meet. Ill just go to wildwood/cape may where its closer (less than half the distance of mt laurel) to hang out with my njfboa southern brethren

no matter where you go, You will run into summer traffic in jersey and it will be crap until the summer's end. Theres no getting around that. The roadhouse is exit 27 off of route 55 which is a major highway. summer traffic on rt 55 usually isnt bad until you get to exit 24 or farther south (shore exits), and thats usually on holidays. once you hit rt 47/347 near my house, then it gets crappy.

btw you picked the most congested area of south jersey with the worst roads, i dont even like bringing my car up there. and Ron is right about Traffic on 55 it doesnt get bad till you get past the road house.

so what out of all of those reasons that you listed made us not go to TRH when it had the highest vote? seems to me like its so people from the north dont have to drive as far.

As we have said many times.....we like TRH, and have every intention of continuing to hold South Meets there, but we also need to move around to different areas of South Jersey just like we try to do with the other areas of the state.

The north and central meets move around. The south has been stagnant and needs to move around too. End of sermon!

Keeping it at the roadhouse leaves less chance of getting lost for the people who do travel from up north...

and for everyone who is calling the south whiners...your ass's would be awful chapped too if we decided to hold a north meet at atco.

I think Chatterbox was pretty far away for Central people (UBG I mean south, sorry).
The meet is visible from a MAJOR highway! How hard can it be to get there?
