finally made it to a track!

went to atco today got 4 runs in with a best of 14.2@99mph on my 4th run in the 95 Z28 with a tune, catback and CAI.

this car keeps amazing me, on the 2 hour ride to atco, with the AC cranked, fooling aorund on the turnpike, then racing the car 4 times, then another 2 hour trip home at 85+.... i get the best gas milage ever! 18.5mpg! ever since the tune its been gettin better the more i beat on it lol. and the car ran great all night no probs

Not too shabby! What gears are in that bad boy? I'm guessing 2.73s since it's an auto and you got good mileage even after beating on it . Swap in some 3.42s and you'll be in the 13s all day and it'll feel like a different car!

congrats on the new best for your buddy.
you'll get 13's easy with a rears swap as jeff said,(if you have 2:73's now)

that was my first time out this season with the new gears 3:70's instead of the 4:11's and brand new tires . the tires started to come around after the 4th pass. it was pretty humid out also last night so that hurts a little. we raced my friends 07 BLACK GT w/SC on it just for the heck of it. my car was almost on the bumper, pedaled it and still ran a 9.38 to his 11.50. everyone was clapping and giving thumbs when we came down the return lane down. it was a good show
my runs were
1st pass on motor 10.25 @133
2.nd on a 200 shot 9.19
3rd 9.12
4th 9.38
5th 9.10
all between 148-150

previous best was 9.13 so i got a new best to but not much of one
and get down to atco more. good luck

Beware of friday night.....its the start of the pan-am nationals, ricers galore and you'll need ear plugs when all those rotaries run.

yeah my friend rob thought he had the trifecta all figured out until we got to the cash out and his numbers were in the wrong order..

we were all kicking ourselves for not betting more on the million dollar race too. the horse that won paid out like $25 for a $1 bet
