Nice looking car. Welcome and congrats on your first F-body.
Remember the pecking order.

#1 4th Gen LS1 cars
#2 Early 2nd Gens 70-73
#3 74-77 2nd Gens
#3 1/2 is Late 2nd Gens78-81 rubber bumpers
#4 LT1 cars
#5 3rd Gens

1st Gen guys are generally unaware of anything built after 1969 and those that are aware do not acknowledge them.
5th Gens guys are too consumed with trying to find their reflections as they drive by plate windows to realize they aren't even F-bodys.

I won't comment on your rankings other than to say yes, the 5th gen was given the F designation from GM, so it is an F-Body.

I missed that. So your saying maybe I should've put the 3rd Gen Higher?

For me personally rubber bumpers rank #1 in my heart

Personally, I would take a 3rd gen over a 4th gen any day....but that's just me. Of course 1st gens and early - mid 2nd gens are awesome as well.

If its a 3.8 right above a LG4 3rd Gen, If its a 3.4 right below.
But 6cyl guys have their own ranking
With the Turbo TA being king and in it own class including V8's.
Then as follows
OHC Firebirds,
inline 2nd Gens,
3.8 4ths
then 3.8 2nd's tied with 2.8/3.1 3rds, 3.4 4th's
But wheres that leave the Iron Duke
