Dont think so.. I tryied to get in touch with one of the moderatores for quite a while now and quite a few times but no response what so ever... Its like the cold shoulder..
I have no idea what is going on.. I would say the "100 F-Bod Cruise" is dead in the water.. Everything looked promising too! We did have alot of good feed back on this thread, and just from this one club wich is great!!!...
They did liked the idea, and they said we are going to do this, and that, and map everything out... yadayadayada!
It would be nice to know what is going on...
Well, I guess we could still do this one day in the near future.. But if you guys want to push it for this summer I would recomend to get in touch with them..

why dont we just organize one on this forum. Seems like we had alot of feedback just from our guys. May not be as much, but we can always just post up on our other forums trying to recruite more people. I just need to know a day so i can take off of work and get about a hundred bucks to blow on gas.

the problem is co-ordination of such an event you would have to notify local authorities as to whats going on...there might even be red tape and hoops to jump through beings it might possibly be considered a parade of some sorts.

the biggest problem is that when these events are done by other organizations theyre usually for charity and require some sort of donation to get the ball rolling and eyes to look the other directions.

cant spin the wheels if you dont grease the bearings

I have had no part in planning for this event, but one of our other staff members has been working on it, and just has had to set it aside for a short while. We still are hoping to pull this off this year.

i think if you read the thread you would notice how people are willing to donate money for this. it's been mentioned before.

go to page 3 when everyone starts dropping out cause it might be a bit of a donation. im guessing anywhere between 50-100 a car would get the ball rolling. i have quite a few connections very high up in the state police and can help get the ball rolling...but its gonna have to be a charity event.

whatever moderator that wants to put this together is more than welcome to contact me and i can do some legwork on finding out what it will take.

Too bad we couldnt organize this to head to the Gm Nationals in carlisle.. They have been trying for years to get the Firebird community to come out and show up the camaro for once..The most they have gotton was just over 200 firebirds when almost 700 camaros show up.

If you want to take the initiative to work with GREZ28 and plan it - go right ahead.

Why would anyone here be interested in a show less than 3 hours away with over 800 camaros & firebirds plus lots of other GMs? LOL

Seems the idea was dropped by the person who took over the planning.

i dont see why we cant just all meet somewhere and take a drive...its not illegal to drive, we dont need to organize anything with police, we dont need them to block off roads or anything...just a bunch of guys getting together and driving there cars

This seems like the best idea. only planning necessary is where to meet. Charity is fine but personnally i dont have 50-100 dollars to spare just to block some roads for a drive that everyone could take for free. Yes it would be neat without everyone having to get split by traffic and traffic lights. But the just meet and drive for a few years same show same route would show the true interest of members whe it comes down to actually showing up and doing the drive. You can get 100 yays then only fifty people show up. This would give some key planners an idea of if it would be worth tryig to organize the cost and work of shutting roads down. Everyone is always all for everything till plans change, or its to cold or its rainy. A few years of just meeting and going would allow interest to build and a better preview of what it could be like.

Organize a cruise to a meet. People do it all the time, it ain't that difficult. The October meet is a great location to cruise to.
