yea that was a brain fart..i'll admit it...but you try taking two calls, calling them in as impounded to PD, releasing a car over 6000lbs that was dollied and the people want to know why it was $250 and thinking about fuel system tech all at the same time. then do that 8-8 every day and see if you dont **** up...that actually came from my specific build. i'm having a problem with the cam cause it has no cam sensor pick up on it. so the injectors are firing all willy nilly.

but back to my original point running a 60# injector and only needing 42;s will not make it run lean or be inefficiant
i donno u but id rather have a big injector then not enough

to an extent...if your duty cycle is to low they will spit, if its too high they will spit I worked mine out to run at 75-80% at stock fuel pressure.

not if the fp is right, and the only issue may be idle tunning if the injectors are to large u cant get the pulse width low enough.
if the injectors are to oversized u wont be able to open and close them fast enough, basically u will just crack them open resulting in poor idle and very hard tunability
an lt1 needs a 50# injector open 9.2 msec for 100% ve at wot add in the 1.1 msec opening timeand u have a 10.3 msec pulse width
thats without any enrichment running a 14.7 afr
now for 12.0 afr that would be closer to 12.3 msec or about 42% duty cycle on the na motor
bring that down to idle and ur looking around a 1.5 msec pw at idle + the 1.1msec opening time plenty of time to allow for idle tunning even though it is a lil on the low side by about .7 msec
idle pw shoudl be around 2.3 msec without opening time for ease of tunning the mixture, with low pw time the only thing that happens is an enrichment in the ve bin becomes exaggerated a 1% increase in the table could actually become a 4% increase in injector flow or decrease depending on which way ur going
but at idle ur already dropping fp when vacum is aplied to the regulator as long as u have an adjustable fpr its fine u can just take out an additional 1-3 psi of fp at idle
but 50's are well within the range of being tunable at idle something like say a 60 or 70 pound injector would make for hell trying to tune at idle with ultra short pulse widths

42% is not much of a duty cycle and certainly not with in the range that an injector will be efficient. 60# at 42% is also not equal to 50# at 100% unless the fuel pressure referenced is massively different.
Sounds like you just decided to over complicate things with a Vafpr that you didn't need and the wrong sized injectors that you most likely picked up with all of the other second hand stuff you used in the super combo.

lol it wasnt "rotting away in the weeds." the car looked so much better before you got a hold of it. i remember cringing along with a few njfboa members at the track when we saw it there. i remember putting the car on the lift and showing you and you bought it. it wasnt like u bought it blindly. that camaro has been a bastard for a pretty long time now.

if its as bad as u say it is, then why on earth would you buy it? Only a complete idiot would do something like that... my trader feedback on every forum is 100% positive with nothing but good things to say, and people who know me (which would be quite a few) know i wouldnt make up stories.
