December Car of the Month Submissions

Anyone can post one picture of only their Camaro or Firebird in this thread.

Please include your name and a short paragraph (at least a few sentences) describing the mods done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.

If this is not posted in this thread by the time voting begins, your car will not be included in the vote.

At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winners will not be eligible to win again for 12 months.

All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason).

If you have submitted a car in the past, but were not selected as a winner, feel free to submit another pic. You can continue to enter each month until you win.

Please limit this thread to posts submitting pictures only. Comments and other chit-chat will be removed.

GET THOSE SUBMISSIONS IN!!!

1999 Chevy Camaro Z28

Currently powered by ME...just kidding. This is my 1999 Camaro Z28. I bought it bone stock in January of 2008 and have been modding it ever since. I started out with small mods like a lid and catback. Now it sports a mild head/cam package with a moser 9in, monster clutch, and a chummmma tune. A 2002 long block was being put into this car when the picture was taken. I'm 18 and am proud to say I have done all of the work to the car with my time and money. I hope to have an 11 second pass under me by the end of the season. Future plans include installing a NOS plate kit and possible weight reduction and then shoot for 10s.

This is my 1999 Z28 Droptop, she has 205k on her, but would never guess but looking at the car. Just is Light Pewter Metallic with gray interior. Mods done to the car are SLP LM1, SLP Lid, LCAs and STB, and 6,000K HIDs.

This is my 1989 Camaro IROC-Z 350 TPI. I purchased this car as a wreck in 2003 and spent a lot of hours fixing the damage and prepping the whole car for a repaint. The car has a 3.42 posi rear, full rebuild on the suspension including an Eibach pro-kit. Full exhaust- Hooker Super Comp LT's, Mufflex ORY, Magnaflow. Custom CAI, JSP tune, and most recently a T56. Next mod will most likely be an engine but at this point I'm still unsure of what route I would like to go.

Car: 1998 Trans Am

I bought the car almost a year ago up in north jersey. When I bought the car it had kooks longtube header, highflow cats, and a magnaflow catback. It also had a 3600 Vig, tune and a moser rear with 373s. Since I have owned the car i added the a Stock ws6 ram air hood and a set of MT Drag Radials. I also recently put C6 Z06 wheels to cruise around on. The best I have done at atco is a 12.37 @ 110. H

Name: Mark Wasem
Car: 2000 Pontiac Trans Am Firehawk #C062
Mods: Full exhaust, LS6 intake, Volant CAI, a bunch of red UMI suspension goodies, Slowhawk Tuned, and a bunch more.

Purchased in 2004 when I was younger and the insurance was more than the payments! (Despite a clean record!) It is my dream car ever since my first car, a 1990 Camaro RS. The Firehawk used to be my daily driver and has since been retired to fun and show duty.

I've had the car a week and its bone stock. Which i do appreciate because i will know whats under the hood and there will be no surprises except for the ricers. I've done some minor interior work and have some big plans once spring comes around.
