I'm not sure what part of this pic is coolest. The car or the carrier

Not only can they (the CT guys even drove down in a snow storm Friday), but they can do it better, and with their own running cars.

Awesome pics!! I met a few of the NY guys a few years back at the XV Motorsports open house, and they were all super nice, real car guys.

quik - your were there for a tad and then gone like a bad fart. Hope your car was OK. I was in the BMW. Hope to have a T/A next year.

Awesome time was had by all. Hope others attend next year that missed out.

...and yes, those vette guys were fast. Black one was supercharged and went home on a rollback.

[QUOTE=BonzoHansen;759578... It threw a rod through the block. And hit a wall. What I don't know is if those events were separate or not.[/QUOTE]

Happened in 1 event.
rod was throw
oil hit track
driveline locked due to blown motor
lock tires slid on oil spinning car into rail

a late 90's mustang lost its load too.

Not a good day for the Fords even if one was chevy powered. (crash, blown motors, torn fenders) the Olds wagon & 78 Camaro had engine issues and called an early day. Albert had tire issues and sat out. We tried to figure it out, and concluded that the rear tires where coming apart inside.

Didn't put two and two together that that was you on Saturday until just now. I was just wiped that day. Car made it home fine but the brakes are shot now, and the power steering fluid frothed. Good times no less, but just felt it was time to go. Some shots of your car in the album by the way.

Not the Challenger. The guys that think the car is too large to be athletic. It did just fine on the track, but the driver randomly stood on the brakes on the second run a few times. Caused quite the scare to a few of us.

$200 bucks says they wouldn't even make it down the highway in the snow we hit, let alone drive on that track with 6 inches of fresh snow. Driving in some slush, and plowing through half a foot of snow are two very different things.

Looks like a cold, but good time. But Geez, pro-touring first gen Camaros are totally played out! They're a dime a dozen. Did they have any type of safety requirements before letting people on the track? And Scott, looking at all the other cars, you're definitely going to need a front spoiler if you want to hang out with those guys.

Jeff you are right. I need to order the OE front spoiler for my car. No spoiler = front end lift over 75.

are you done making this about you yet? At least their cars with LS swaps run good.

A guy did a cursory tech inspection on our cars (he appeared to be employed by NJMP, but I am not sure). He also inspected our helmets. Besides that, I don't really know what else could be done. There were no requirements that I am aware of, but my car passed.
