If I had the means, yes. Best looking 4th gen Camaro around, with everything perfect.

Never seen silver, though.

Love the seats. I would think 50-60k is more appropriate. What were they new?

Assuming I had the means for only one $150k-ish car, it wouldn't be a 700 mile car. I'd need a fully restored Jaguar roadster (think XK140 and the like), a jaw-dropping Pro-Touring Gen1 FBody, or a FGT if I could find the right Repo Man

In 20-25 more years, $150k may be reasonable. All us "kids" who owned these cars in our earlier years will have better means to afford such frivolous purchases.

The silver strikes a tone with me, but I agree with Brian. $150k in 2017 is too soon, junior.

Twenty years down the road and I'm ballin out of control, absolutely.

I guess I should clarify: If I was pondering dropping $150k on this, I'd have some pretty serious other toys

that is a collector car and needs to be looked at that way. If your answer is i can build better for less, etc., your out of the conversation. If i could afford it I'd still be out for that reason lol.

I dont know what those have been trading at recently to judge value. I suspct low five digits at best but i could be way off.

Just to be clear, I'm only against it because I would ruin it. And that car deserves to be kept perfect.

On a side note, I'm pretty sure Dale Jr sold a Dick Harrel 4th gen a few months ago from his own collection

Of course, it's an Ultra Rare 4th Gen, but the Silver paint seems too soft for this Bird. Maybe a Bright Red or Metallic Orange to make it pop. The same goes for the wheels, they look bland with those Dark Gray spokes. Too bad you could not enjoy this monster because OF the low mileage.

The price is Waaaay to much RIGHT NOW. Just like 60's Muscle Cars were within every ones reach at one time, but 98.5% of us now can only look and drool at what they are bringing now. I had (NEW) a 1966 427 425 hp Corvette, a 1965 GTO, a 1967 GTO H.O., a 1970 Monte Carlo SS and more, but sold them all for a little more than what they listed for. Right now any one of them could pay off my house, but HEY, who knew.

I think Ron has one. He might be tuned in better to the market value of these things.

Also, its that time of the year. Could be a teaser with an exorbitant reserve to build interest before it hits a real auction.

Ignoring the model, do buyers of such a car really think this way? I was under the impression that anyone willing to drop 6-figures on "a piece of 4th Gen history" that has all of the right decals, wasn't going to be sitting there critiquing the manufacturer for their paint color choice... I'm too poor to own a $150,000 garage ornament, so maybe someone could edumacate me

If you have the means, you get to be picky and some colors can simply bring more money.

See, this is interesting to me. What you're saying makes sense, and that's how I, being JoeSchmo, approach buying a "regular" car. But I figured the "Collectors Cars" of most value were the ones that were most rare...

Seems that, of the 30 total Dick Harrell Camaros produced, the registry is most saturated with either red or orange cars (13 out of 30). Meanwhile, there were only 3 silver ones, & this particular one was the only Camaro of the 30 to get the Houndstooth interior.

I'll never understand
