spark plug wires
need to buy a set of plug wires anyone have favorties or ones that have worked well for them? i just put headers on and i have some kind misfire i think i may have fried one of the wires, anything good from napa there right down the street?

MSD custom kit, only way to avoid burning wires is an OVTC kit.

I have had good luck with Taylors in the past, and currently using 8.5mm MSDs.
DEI heat boots can be a good friend too.

i think 10.4 would be just a wee bit of overkill for this application ....

no such thing as overkill, they are only like $10 more than the 8's and they have a higher temp resistance,oil, etc... lower the resistance better spark, those sbc's need every 10th/h.p. they can get anyway.
hey, they'll look friggin sweet on there too!!!

Good wires, never burnt a single one yet... and my OTVC kit is a tad bit bad.

You also have coil packs... can't imagine how much fun it would be routing 10.4 mm wires on a real engine...
