Sharp Lookin! If that's an auto, just be careful with the trans. My friend had to replace his trans at like 50 or 60k miles and he doesn't beat on it. Definitely quick cars though. And looks damn good in silver.

Was it silver?! I saw it getting towed down rt 18 on my way home from work if it was.. I almost hit the divider I was drooling so bad. What'd it run? It had HUGE Mickey Thompsons on the back.

#1 to your first post...no, there has never been a manual option for the 3.8 SC motor. The new GTP has a paddle shift thing with the Comp G package. Its cool..just need a few more gears to make it extra cool..
#2- No, its one of the FWD Regal GS's...so the MT's had to be on the front. It was black, and had the infamous "headlight mod".
It ran...12.1-12.4 range.
There was also an E55 AMG there...WOW! Car just takes off like a freight train. That ran mid 12's all night with this little guy driving it.

57k my trans went. line pressure solenoid failed and it wiped out the clutches. cost over 2 grand. between 57 and 61 I had the blower motor go out and I had an idley pulley freeze up the the bearings and wipe out the blower belt and two plastic idley pulleys. I had some other problems with the car too. Went through brakes like crazy, the traction control system light came on at random times, and the passenger wipe got loose on me the one day and collided with the driver's side wiper.
my brother had an 01 gtp and he needed to replace the whole steering rack at 39k. These weren't abused cars. Mine was bone assed stock.
hope you have better luck. I wasn't gambling any more on it since i didn't trust it and i still had a big payment so I traded it in on a 2004 gto.
