new ones look similar to the new ZR1 wheels. Not really my style but as long as you like them it's all that matters. Get some tire shine on them dry looking tires

not into them either. i never liked so much bling and hundreds of spokes on our cars, or any car for that matter. im not really into aftermarket rims at all.

They give off too much BLING. I much prefer the STOCK Firehawks. The FORMULA looks much cleaner with them, while the new wheels look very busy on that type of sports car. Hate to say it but it looks ricer. Just my

I like the firehawks better, way to much going on there, they are taking away from the car itself.

On a separate note, is that a FACTORY HOOD on the FORMULA? Never saw one with that hood scoop and I like it. Were they ONLY on the SLP FORMULA FIREHAWKS? Looks really good. Like I said before, you have a RARE BIRD, keep it looking like a HAWK!

thanks for all of the opinions keep them coming
yes I am selling the old wheels
yes I need tire shine but mine froze I left it in the car
yes Camaron...poop lol
yes it is a factory firehawk hood from 99-02 with the bumper trimmed to fit the hood
yes I know the firehawks are well regarded by everyone that knows these cars and yes I like both wheels a lot I was just getting tired of the old wheel I've only ever had a plain 5 spokes on both cars I've owned it was time for a change and I'm happy I think that this wheel with the 3 inch lip and chrome finish really makes the car more elegant and different looking
to the ricer comment I think it has the road race/BBS style or even an updated GTA wheel look to them

The MAIN reason you bought them was because YOU like them and that's 99% of all that matters. Yes they do change the look of the car from hard looking, to a more elegant design. I have the diamond spoke factory wheels on my '91 Bird, and when it comes time to clean them, lets just say that 80 holes per wheel x 4 is really PITA. I would love to be able clean my wheels(if they were a 5 spoke design) in a minute, plus if you detail the brake calipers, most of that is hidden by the wheel spokes. But change is good, and hope you enjoy!

I don't know what I could realistically get so I'm gonna put them up on ebay and let the market set its value. I would prefer to sell them locally, but I know the more I advertise that they are on ebay the more I would get for them to offset the new purchase. If your serious about this set with a good set of tires then pm me with a serious offer. I won't have pictures or be able to put them up for auction until after thursday when it is sunny again.

And Ed I get what your saying as well I know they aren't going to be the easiest to clean, but like everything there is a tradeoff. I've seen your car on 2 occasions and can appreciate how clean you keep your car and your wheels.

To much wheel for a F-body. If you like them, then thats all that matters.
