Up for sale is my 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 SL 4x4. Manual locks and windows. This truck was in poor shape when I got it as it spent its life as a yard truck so the body was not taken care of.(Titled in PA as a government vehicle.) The truck has 26,xxx ORIGINAL miles which the title proves. It runs and drivers with no mechanical issues. The drivetrain has the reliable 6.0 and 4L80E trans. I drove the truck daily for a few months after I got it. As I said before the body was not taken care of so I had to weld in some sheet metal on the floors and have some body work done to on the dents. The bed I had to replaced because I felt it was easier than trying to remove the dents. The body still has some dings here and there. The interior is nice except for the ripped driver seat. Also, the truck came with that crappy rubber pad inside which I replaced with carpet. This truck is still not perfect, however to someone willing to do the rest of the work you can have a damn near perfect low mileage truck. I'm looking to get 6000 so that I can break even with what I paid for the truck,parts, etc.
Within a week or 2 the driver side rocker should be put on as well as the new tailgate and the hitch. If I still don't find a buyer within that time the trucks getting dropped off to be painted, the price will increase after that.
What the truck needs to be finished is:
The driver side rocker welded in(already have the new one)
The tailgate needs to be replaced which I have a brand new one already
A passenger side rocker replaced or repaired
Rear bumper and hitch installed(have both already)
Paint job.
Since I've owned the truck here is was has been done.
Sprayed the under-body with black rustoleum
All new brakes lines
All new stainless steel fuel lines
Both front hubs.
Bed replaced
Front bumper(the chrome was plasti-dipped black)
Front speakers
Fuel pressure regulator
Floor repaired.
285/75/16 tires with good tread
New plugs, wires, oil/filter and air filter.
