Ok well i just bought a 86 camaro, its ok, nothing great, its a hardtop v6 auto, it has aftermarket ground effects on the side and rear, but i'll switch those with z28 ones i have layign around. but back to my main point, i remember reading about a guy who did a right hand drive conversion(i think i read it on TGO) so i was thinking of doing a conversion myself, i have all the tools and parts so i figure why not. The car cost me 250 and the interior is very nice. I plan on pulling the 2.8(which runs great) and then doing the conversion with the engine out and when it come times to put the motor back, i'll drop in a spare 305 that i have sitting which i know runs great and i'll throw in a th350 behind that. In addition i'll put my export 3rd gen camaro taillights on it, that way it'll bug everyone out. Too bad it isnt ttops otherwise i'd use my lexan tops and paint them to match body color, but a ttop conversion isnt out of the question either. I just wanted to see if anyone knew any laws regarding the rhd conversion? like do i need to go for a special "engineer" inspection, i think thats what the guy on TGO had to do. My old boss at the shop said just do it and if i get stopped, say i bought it like that and no one said anything
