Whats wrong with my TV?????

i have had this TV for about 2yrs and now i have these bubbles on there and it looks like the LCD is like where the bubbles are! does anybody know about this or have had the same problem??????

yeah my 3yrs son sprayed water on it like a month ago but the problem just showed up in the past week!

any magnetic objects like unshielded speakers sitting too close to it?

EDIT: don't thick that will affect a LCD. Good luck on your quest...

Probably... maybe your son thought it could use a magnet? When I was a little kid, my TV did the same thing. It went away after a while though.

EDIT - of course that was before LCD and plasma but I guess they do the same thing as CRT?

No, the LCD shouldn't be affected by a magnet at all.

it appears that the LCD(liquid crystal display) panel was damaged and that is actually the liquid leaking out. Same thing happens if you crack a cellphone screen or similar.
its possible that something/someone pushed on the screen at the bottom, causing the break. and if that is the case, there really is no fixing it, probably cheaper to buy a new tv at that point.

Yeah...the LCD is leaking. Could be the water that damaged it.
Start scanning for July 4th sales...
