Tire dressing applicator
So I've used these stupid things that come with the tire gel, and they always break after a few uses. What are you guys using?

Paint brush or microfiber rag. Paint brush is fine but it can put too much on the tire causing an easy sling unless you let it sit for a while. Even "no sling" products will have this problem with using too much product.

Ive never had any luck with tire shine cause it always ends up slinging off. No matter how long i let it sit

When I had to detail vehicles I would use a 3" wide paintbrush too. I would dip the very tips of the bristles and then wipe the end of the brush on the side of the container and then dab/stab at the tire so I was applying as little product as possible. Once the brush was full of product you can go a looooong way on one tire without applying anything to the brush too.
The stuff the owner supplied was like jheri curl  so i tried not to use too much
or like "SoulGlo"

I leave my tires alone because most of that stuff is silicone based and it damages tires.

I forget what brand it was, but it was turning my tires yellow. I wanna say it was Meguires in the aresol can.

I use meguires natural shine on my tires. Only shine them up when i take pics or go to meets.

I usually use 303 aerospace protectant. I don't like my tires to look shiny and I can't stand having to wipe excess stuff off the side of my car. My tires are about 6 years old and they look like new. I also use it on most of the interior.

I have these foam block applicators I think from Eagle One or Maguiars that I like....they are curved and last forever. I've been using the same 2 for like 5 years now. As for which brand tire shine....I'm a fan of Maguiars Endurance. I apply it and let it dry for a couple minutes then use an old microfiber to go over it and try any areas that got too wet. Never have any sling off of the tires with it.

The endurance gel is the best man.....plus the grape smell is awesome lol...... 
5.94 a bottle at wal-mart pep boys is like 10.00 ouch.....

i also used teh curved applicators. i tried one type which was foam pad stuck in a plastic handle. that broke apart in use, so now i just use the pad. the other kind is a foam pad glued to a thicker foam handle. that one works best. i dotn remember the brand names, but they are the curved type. works well. meguiers product also

A lot of the higher quality tire shines have no silicone in them now. Here is what I use.
They are like the eagles but seem to hold up better and the small groove keeps the area you hold from getting tire dressing on it.

These are similar to a paint brush. I just got these at the end of last season and they seem to work awsome but no idea on the durability as I only used them 4-5 times. They really get the dressing in all the small grooves and letters.
