But next year is so far away... April and/or June are not
|
Would be too tempted to demo derby it instead of racing.

Registration is a week away, that's the problem.

He said there is another race too. I dd a 5 speed yj pedia, get with it!

I ****ING told you to hold onto the V6 car, but noooooooooooooooo...
Find a high mileage 4th gen with a 3800, and it will decimate all with overnight parts from China. |
I am down for either one. Maybe we can get two teams going here for either series.

If we wait until next year, then we have to do this right and win this thing by 20 laps. Assuming they have it at NJMP again, we have a little over a year to do this. Judging by the amount of people interested, two teams may be an option.
With over a year to get this done, I think that we would have to use an f-body. Given the $500 value, I'm assuming it would be a thirdgen or a steal for a 2nd or 4th gen. After reading the rules for both races, the 24hrs of Lemons seems much more laid back and fun and basically if you get a great deal on a car, you're good. The ChumpCar series would make running any f-body much harder because of their value system. They also seem a lot more serious and strict about mods. My point is, I'm only going to build and run a non f-body if its this year. If I am waiting a year, then I'm building one badass f-body. And for the record, I'm way better at driving than I am at building/fabricating/wrenching. ~Matt |

I've got a '93 V6 automatic Camaro that I'd sell for $500 if it was promised to be used in this race. It's been sitting for a while so I'll have to see if it will start. *looks for jump box and starting fluid*

I will be looking to go to the race on Sunday, if anyone wants to be down.
