Prices are rising for 3rd gens simply because Pontiac is gone, whether the owners list that as the reason or not. Looking around, that seems to be the trend which makes other 3rd gen owners follow suit.

I keep telling you guys prices on nice 3rd gen are climbing for a few years now. They guys who grew up with them are old enough and make enough $$ to want one back.

I totally agree...granted mine is far from mint but it's decent/nice...I got that car for such a steal after seeing some of the thirdgen prices now without the blower lol
