Your Camaro is OBD II. Your truck is OBD I. You can get an OBD I car to pass for sure, but if you delete EGR and AIR you have to be more careful since emissions levels are actually tested for vs. an SES light test.

i actually heard my truck is what they call OBD 1.5 lol, i guess that was the year they started switching some stuff over, i dont know the details on it.

yeah i got the plug for the intake and caps/plates for the headers, plus i dont know if it had anything to do with it but i took the fuse for it out. i haven't gotten it tuned out of the computer and i've been driving like this for ~9-10 months

You will have an OBD I system with an OBD II connector. Special in the sense that you need unique equipment to scan it. If you do need it scanned, however, let me know as I have that setup for my '95 Trans Am and you are close by.

thanks! that would be perfect, i have the SES light on now but its just in need of a tune up. rough high idle at 900-1000 and diesels when shut off

another thought, would i have to run premium in the 4.8?

with a stock tune in the computer you can run regular
