Computer guys...need some help.

So I've been getting a blue screen of death lately.

Most recently I've been downloading the expansion for World of Warcraft(dork I know). I just leave the opening screen up while it downloads it. After a little while I'll get the dreaded blue screen. I sometimes get it if I have Cartown open on Facebook. Here at the details. Any ideas as to what the culprit could be? I would assume it's a hardware issue.

Problem signature:

BCP4: 0000000022000145
OS Version: 6_1_7600

Seems like your BLT drive may be DOA.

Yeah, they are. It's only doing it for this one program and Call of Duty which is a known problem, updated the latest video card drivers too.

I think I might have an idea as to what it is.

That'll do it. haha. Make sure the fan on the cpu is spinning. If it overheats it will sometimes cause blue screen. The file in the temporary folder maybe could be deleted as its in the temp folder but correct me if I'm wrong. Install an antivirus software and see if it can get rid of the problem. Hope this helps.

It's software issue, looked up the errors. But now that the expansion is completely done downloading there are no more issues, I guess it was the downloader program.

deadtrend1 01-30-2011 07:42 PM

So you're saying it wasn't from all your porn then??

Frosty 01-30-2011 07:44 PM

I can confidently say it wasn't from that, lol. There isn't a single bit of porn on the computer. ;)
