"Super-Storm" Sandy Pictures

I figured I'd start a thread for pics of this years "perfect storm"

Obviously nothing much has occurred just yet... but only time will tell.
If it does get intense, It would be interesting to see how different parts of the state were affected.

As for rules about posting a picture.. PLEASE include the name of the town where the picture was taken. And preferably only pictures you, or a close friend/family member took. Otherwise if its all media pictures, there's nothing special about it(plus then copyright issues etc)

PS: Lets keep this on topic with a small amoutn of discussion and i'll ask mods to delete any stupid or pointless posts.

ALSO, NO INSTAGRAM PICTURES!!! They are very annoying and do not make you a professional photographer..

Mods: Please delete any posts of stupidity or Instagram pics. Thank you.

Really don't think this is worthy of a "LOL".

WayFast84 10-29-2012 05:40 PM

Many places are screwed by this. Ocean city is pretty much under water right now.

+1.

From what I've seen Seaside is hit just as bad, no doubt all the other shore spots are like that too.

x2... the damage caused by this storm is going to effect all of us living here in NJ even if not effected directly. Nothing funny about the entire shore community getting wiped out...

FFFFFFUUUUUUUUU

The_Bishop 10-30-2012 07:15 AM

Here's a somewhat better pic. Banged up the gutters some, and I won't be able to tell if the roof is damaged until I get up there and get the mess off of it.

This is a headache. The two trees you see right behind that root ball from another blowdown are leaning across my neighbor's private drive. This is *not* going to be fun or cheap, and the money is all coming out of the 'build a garage' fund.

I'm up at Rutgers and seeing friends and family post pictures online is seriously depressing, I've lived down there for 15 years and don't even want to travel down there right now. My brother-in law lost his house and a couple of friends lost theirs too.

Italian Stallion 10-30-2012 04:38 PM

For you guys with facebook add the page severe nj weather, RIDICULOUS pictures and and videos of the shorelines. Rides on the seaside heights boardwalk are all in the water.

NJ346 10-30-2012 05:38 PM

Also jersey shore hurricane news is a good one too
