That's your problem. Start with a good torque arm (chassis mount will get you hooking up very nicely), then get a good set of rear LCAs (LCA relocation brackets would be good too, even if you aren't lowered).

Subframe connectors are also important. Some are better than others, but any weld-in type will be a huge improvement over nothing.

After that, start worrying about shocks & springs.

i do have an upgraded torque arm.

get weight off of the nose and get some adjustable shocks all around. disconnect your front sway bar when you run. you want to transfer all of the weight rearward and keep it there till you get off the throttle.

100 percent correct. However I would add that the TA and LCA's will work better if their fully adjustable. You won't need a crazy amount of power to get that thing air born, if everything is set properly.

to add to this i dont think the nittos are goin to cut it. and lik said its about weight transfer so dont focus only on rear suspension. there is a stock lt1 with just suspension done and he has a pic with air under the front left tire.

I pulled a wheel with my bolt on car. only suspsension mod is torque arm

EODMonkey 06-18-2009 11:25 AM

**** stiff suspension and 4.10's lol. but yea suspension is key especially when transferring weight to the rear. everything needed has been said

Mike 06-18-2009 11:47 AM

our cars are also TERRIBLE when it comes to weight in front of the front wheels, remove/move some of that weight, and it will come up very easily :)

EODMonkey 06-18-2009 12:12 PM

remove engine and install a JATO bottle hehehe hahahaha

LTb1ow 06-18-2009 01:38 PM
