diameter?

NJSPEEDER 09-08-2005 08:05 PM

is there a difference? i know the LS1 cars got more brake than the LT1 cars, but i thought the 4.1 gens all had the same brakes from 94-97, and i think the only difference in 93 was the calipers.

On your 91, it might be diameter, but that's labelled wrong. The stock Firebird and WS6 brakes are 10.5" rotors (same as a G-body), but the 1LE brakes use 12" rotors. On a 3rd Gen, they mount with different calipers and adapter brackets.

yeah 3rd gen front brakes are the same for g-bodies and S-10 blazers. i know because i stocked up on brakes from when i worked at the autoparts warehouse for my cutlass and camaro  they're all 154 pads and the rotors if memory serves me right when i sold TRW/autospecialty the number was AR-8124.i could be wrong on the rotor number. i believe rear drums on a standard rear(2.73) are the same for 3 gens and g-bodies too. could be wrong

You are correct. The only S10 rotors that are different are the late ones after they switched over to ABS. And, the rear drums are interchangeable as well. I have aluminum drums off a Firebird on my Monte. :)
