2 prom wire unsure on location

 it comes from the engine harness and feeds down the frame into a black oblong plug then it comes out as orange and red wire the one red wire goes to the alternator, where does the orange wire go.I think it goes to the battery Im asking cause i cut it and have no idea where it goes? but in the schematic for my 1991z28 5.7 tpi engine diagrams say all orange wires are hot..

Yea, all red and orange wires should be hot. Not sure where that orange one would go though....

if you can,. take a picture of its location, and the oblong connector, i'm thinking you may possibly be dealing with a fan power wire, but pics would let me get a better idea.

fusible links

nope it isnt the dual fan connections..if anybody has a 1991 z28 or 1992 z28 I would like to know where it goes to..the dual fans are pluged in..
keep in mind I took a 1991 camaro stripped it and swapped everything from that car into my 1984 z28 so I dont remeber where it goes I can get pics ill do that soon..Im thinking it goes to the battery..but if someone has a 1991z28 or 1992 z28 it would be helpfull if you could look..
