blinkers

ok have a 94 camaro, right blinker doesnt blink. brake light works. have a new flasher unit. how do i replace it?

Untamed 08-23-2006 09:49 AM

Pictures are worth a thousand words. Read the manual. :)

jin1481 08-23-2006 09:52 AM

yeah, replaced the flasher but the right signal still isnt blinking. Suggestion?

jin1481 08-23-2006 11:19 AM

left works fine and the right one comes on steady but its dim.

jin1481 08-23-2006 11:59 AM

hazards work fine. it must be the relay in the selector. is there an easy fix or am i in for some fun?

If what you mean is that your right blinker will work or not work on its own, and the hazards work fine, then you have the same problem me and quikz28 have... not sure on the fix tho

Or u put a bulb in backwards... dunno if that applies to 4th gens, but it happened in my 86 TA

qwikz28 08-23-2006 05:10 PM

get a new bulb. thats whats wrong with mine.

and kasey, its qwikz28, not quikz28. do i look like i know how to spell?

FBODYFirebird 08-23-2006 05:42 PM

examine your bulb (front and rear) to see if it's gone bad **MAKE SURE IT IS THE CORRECT BULB check with the autostore** (85% of the time that's the cause) if not....your best bet is to check the ground of your rear tail lights.... i've had that problem on a 97 anniversary camaro (*Possibly bad ground) if not you might want to check for corrosion in your lights (front and rear *right) socket housing and bulb just to see if it's rusted up over time which is a very common problem

<--- Another vote for bulb problems. I fixed this exact problem on a '00 Z28 and it was a faulty bulb.

Savage_Messiah 08-24-2006 09:54 PM

I've replaced em both and the problem still persists.... corrosion i will check again for and i hadn't thought of the bad ground situation, that actually sounds liek the best explanation
