header gaskets
 
im ready 2 do my header install on my 98 ta. i got my headers cleaned n painted, i have 2 weld in the new cats into my y pipe, and a few other things which i should be able 2 knock out in a weekend so the only thing i pretty much need is a good set of header gaskets. i was thinking stock gm or maby n after market set so please give me some recomendations. thanx

if you want stockers, i have a set of the GM metal ones, with like almost no use on them. $20

stock GM gaskets are the way to go.

Get a set of Percy's soft seals, you can re-use them almost indefinately if you need to pull the headers off again

From what I deal with the original GM 3-piece metal ones are the best.

Yes.... dont use what the header brand supplied you with... lol Pacesetter gave me paper ones.

i used the copper ones that came with my pacesetters and i havent had a problem since

pacesetter shipped otu paper crap with my set... what a joke

I got custom ones but V6 or V8, no real complaints about stock GM gaskets
