sometimes more complicated issues like this take longer for a response, not too many people here are very knowledgeable about auto transmissions. heck i barely have a clue, thats one thign i never really desired to learn yet,

but have you checked the fluid level?
was the trans ever serviced?
what year is the car? 93 had different trans than 94-97
Has this started only when using air conditioning lately?

more info needed please...do you have any Check engine lights? Does it only do this with different ambient temperatures? How often does this happen? Mileage? Any recent repairs?

no check engine light, isnt effected by temperatures. happens like one out of 3 times, no recent repairs
