Hey guys I have a 1987 iroc z28... My brother gave me his 1991 rs v8 camaro.. Im swaping my motor and all over to the 91.. My 700r4 speed unit in it was cable drivin.. The 91 is computered..since im taking the wires and all out , I cant keep the car computed can I.

if you pull the wires and all out of the car like you say ... then no.

If you keep wires in the car, then just swap the cable sending unit to the electronic.
