edit: Hey, my name is Jam and I'm an avid F-body enthusiast. I own a 94 z28 vert, but in the summer of 09 I am looking to purchase a 98-00 WS6 and that is where the fun will start.

Where in LB? You can usually find my Caprice on 2nd Ave towards Cedar.

Jam 07-05-2008 09:28 PM

I moved to Norwood Avenue near Monmouth University. I think I've seen your Caprice. I've seen quite a bit of F-body's around here.

edit ::saving for a WS6

sweetbmxrider 07-06-2008 01:34 PM

nice. yeah i saw the wheels and couldn't say no. your car looks sweet though. real clean. what are your susp. plans?

Jam 07-06-2008 01:39 PM

No idea, I'm going to put my car on stands this week and see everything i would need, I'm probably going to buy a few bushings, ball joints, a strut tower bar, control arms, orrrrrrr i might just replace a few bushings, ball joints, and buy shocks and springs.

LCA relo brackets, LCAs, SFCs, Strut tower brace.

Jam 07-06-2008 10:23 PM

Well if I lower my car of course I will buy LCA relocation brackets. I'll probably get a strut tower bar over a brace and SFCs of course especially on my flimsy convertible. Convertibles need the most work on suspension/chassis unfortunately.

sweetbmxrider 07-06-2008 10:26 PM

wait, i may be an idiot, but don't convertibles come with SFC's? if not, deff do it. and i think strut tower brace=bar, just terminology

Jam 07-06-2008 10:52 PM

A strut tower brace is a little more metal for double the cost. Instead of a Strut Tower Bar having one metal piece going across the struts, you have 1 bar becoming 2 becoming 1 going across.

...and yea all convertibles, by law, have SFCs but I would like to have more modern, tubular, stronger ones. Cause heaven forbid I get a little body roll and .......yea:violin:
