WTB LS oil pan
 

Looking for a vette and or f-body oil pan either inexpensive or possibly damaged for mock up.
Starting to gather parts for the upcoming mock up in the 71. I would like to get the vette pan because I think it doesnt hang as low as the f-body one.

the f body pan may be your better choice, yes in hangs low but not really more than a regular sbc pan would be. Whereas the vette pan is shallower but sticks out to the sides and that may hurt more in a retrofit application. maybe try to borrow both and choose after comparing them in your chassis.

Uhh didn't I already say I want them for mock up? I am not doing your "usual" LS retrofit here. I may wind up doing a TON of metalwork to get what I want but I dont want to spend $500+ for the vette pan if it isnt going to work. I want the vette pan to see exactly how it will fit. I already KNOW the f-body pan works and I would like one for mockup so I dont get a new one and sratch the crap out of it.
