Wanted to get your thoughts on

Was wondering what everyones thoughts on these were. Have you or someone you know ever used these? Especially from the 'new' batch? Thanks for your input.

new batch, only problems seem to be a primary hitting the k member on the passenger side. you can grind some of the k away or dimple the primary. steering shaft seems to still catch a primary too. you can remove the 3 bolts that attach the steering column to the firewall on the inside and reem them out into slots. you then shift the column over and the new angle will clear the primary. worst i heard though is the #8 primary (back one, passenger side) can hit the frame rail pretty good. haven't heard it happening on all of them but it has been stated.

i am definitely getting them though when the time comes.

Yeah all the write ups I find on these are from 2 or more years ago. Apparently the fitment issues were because the original design was geared towards better plug clearance. I am hoping with the new design models those issue were fixed. I wont be grinding the K-member ill just dimple the primary. I would rather not have to move the steering over so i hope thats not an issue. I am gonna get these hopefully by the end of the month unless someone has gotten them recently and ran into major issues.

search on ls1tech or ls1lt1.com there are quite a few people with the new batch and fun little write up's.

Not sure if they make them for LT1's, but I installed a set of Ebay $220 shipped stainless longtubes on a friends' LS1 last week and the quality was impressive. Definitely on par with pacesetter and hooker.

Have a link to the store you got them from or the name of the store? What kind of fitment issues did you run into?

Ive heard nothing but good things on LPP's over on tech. Cant beat the price for stainless.

they were OBX headers, not seeing them for LT1's unfortunately

Ok what does everyone think of these?

Here is a long write up of them on ls1tech. They do require a little bit of dinging the primaries to fit and everything but for the price i could deal with it, plus they are stepped just like the LPP's. Anyone here have experience with these or know someone who has?
