I can't seem to figure this out, what do you make of this diagram ?

Your two hot leads are crossed in the middle.

BATT = hot lead all the time?
WHT = white wire,which it is... but ?
GND = ground
AMB = light?
12v+ = a switched hot lead?

I just dunno what they mean by their diagram.

amb is for the amber LED lighting the white wire is for the white LED lighting.
