LS1 Knock Problem

Friend of mine called me today and asked me if there is a common problem with knock sensors. He has replaced 3-4 of them so far, as well as the small harness, and is still getting the code. Anything common with this?
I told him to check his mounts to see if anything is hitting, but everything is ok. His exhaust does hit the panhard location bracket, but not sure if that is going to effect the knock sensor in the block?

Exhaust hitting can trip the knock sensors. Why did he change the sensors? Codes or just reading a lot of knock retard?

I'm not big into LS1's but I remember seeing a service bulletin for knock sensors. I'll look around and see if I can find it.

02-06-04-023A is the bulletin I was thinking about. Not sure if that will help at all since he's already replaced the sensor and the harness. I'd fix the exhaust first before you tear the intake back off.

I know I had a problem with mine a while back in my old motor. Has he tried replacing both of them at the same time?

Does he have any mods on the car? Underdrive pulley or aftermarket torque converter can set off knock codes....

No mods really, just flowmaster cat back and a lid I believe.
Both sensors were replaced, as was the harness. Keeps tripping the same codes. He replaced the sensors, it goes away. then a week or so later, it pops a code again. Replaced both again, fine for a while then it comes back. Replaced it again with harness. No problem...for a few weeks.

what are the codes?

I've actually heard of a few people having this problem and never finding a fix

I've been throwing a knock code for 6 months, I think I yanked the harness too hard when I did my 6 speed swap so I've had the new sensors and harness staring at me for months waiting to go in
